We have many people serving one another in many different ministries. Exceptional volunteers who care about demonstrating and proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ drive most of our ministries. They are people who not only love what they are doing, but also love those they are serving.

"Under His direction, the whole body is fitted together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love." Ephesians 4:16

What are the gods in your life? What is most important to you? Have you been wounded by life's battles? Shamed by addictive habits, behaviors, and difficult family relationships? Join our Christian Twelve Step support and recovery meetings every Thursday at 7:00 PM at the Brick House, 725 Hover St.

You will hear first-hand from those who, through the power of Jesus Christ, have broken those chains that bind us to our addictions and dependencies - alcohol, drugs, sexual, gambling, control issues, and so many more. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne,
as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

REVELATION 3:21, NKJV

LIFE GROUPS
We want to see every person, from a visitor who comes to our church for the first time to the long-time committed believer, to be connected in a healthy home group. We call our home groups LIFE Groups because we believe that true compassion, affirmation, restoration, and encouragement cannot all be found in a large setting during services on the weekends. But, these wonderful things can be found in a small group of caring people.

We help spiritual seekers become transformed believers who motivate others to do the same. We have groups of all ages, both in Longmont and in surrounding areas. The LIFE groups are hosted by individuals and families who are committed to the health of Summit as a church as well as each individual. The groups are driven by multi-media curriculum and group discussion.

SENIOR CITIZENS
MISSION
Our mission is to bring together PRIMETIMERS (anyone over fifty years of age) once a month for a time of fellowship and friendship, and to be an encouragement through our lives and words to our friends and others we invite, even to awakening a personal relationship with Christ for those who do not know Him.

ABOUT US
Seniors Pastor Bob Hanlin is the PRIMETIMERS ministry leader and coordinator. Bob and Charlene Walls serve as his assistants. However, we could not succeed if it weren’t for the “helping hands” and willingness of everyone to help out whenever and wherever needed.

We meet the second Friday of each month at the Brick House, 725 Hover St., usually sharing in a pot luck dinner. The evening includes the meal, music and a devotional. On occasion, our meetings have consisted of trips to museums, theaters, restaurants, etc. Our special guests have included the church youth - kindergarten through sixth grade, and those in junior and senior high school, - missionaries, and a Valentine’s Day barbershop quartet, to name only a few. We have been known to show movies of interest to all - Fountain of Angels, Charlotte’s Web.

PRIMETIMERS also sponsored the printing and assembly of a cookbook which has been sold by our members and a local Christian book store. More than five hundred recipes which make up that cookbook were furnished by members of the congregation. Profits from these sales will be gifted to the church building fund.

INVOLVEMENT
Are you interested in PRIMETIMERS? We mail notices of these meetings to everyone monthly. If you are not presently on our mailing list but would like to be included, or if you just want more information, you may visit the PRIMETIMERS table in the lobby where you can also see pictures of our past meetings. The young people in those photos enjoyed the evenings as much as we did. You may also email primetimers@summit4square.org, or call the church office at (303) 776-6859.

MUSIC
Our worship is vital to the church body here at Summit. There IS a spiritual dynamic that occurs when groups of people come together to lift up their voices to God in one accord. The scriptures state that, all of heaven and earth will one day bow before the Lord and sing, "Blessing and honor and glory and power belong to the one sitting on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever." Revelation 5:13

Our worship is contemporary. We often sing songs written recently by known songwriters and recording labels such as: Darlene Zschech, Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin, Mac Powell (Third Day), Hillsong (Australia), Hosanna (Integrity Music) and more. Our goal is to stand before the Lord simply giving Him our praise, thanks, glory, honor and finally our lives.

Our worship is sincere and truthful. It is true that as musicians and vocalists we strive for excellence. We want our worship to sound good. However, the goal is not to sound good. The goal is to honor God for all He has done and all He will do.

"But the time is coming and is already here when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for anyone who will worship him that way." John 4:23

OUTREACH
"Salt and Light" is one way we share the gospel of Jesus Christ with others. Through "Salt and Light" we are able to reach people in our communities and other nations. We have found many pre-existing ministries, which are actively helping others throughout the world. Each month we choose to sponsor one of those outreach ministries.

These programs aid individuals and families alike. Some of those organizations are Angel Tree, Samaritans Purse (Operation Christmas Child) & Life Choices Pregnancy Center.

FOURSQUARE MISSIONS
We believe in expanding the kingdom of God, both in our surrounding area and in the world. Therefore, we collect missions offerings each month in support of our Foursquare missionaries. Foursquare’s missionaries are not self-supported. They are paid and funded by the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel through missions giving by individual churches in our denomination. Also, we have a daily prayer guide, which gives specific events and happenings around the world, which need prayer. Each day brings a new topic to bring before the Lord and helps us understand what is going on in other nations.
Finally, Yearly statistics have shown consistently that for every $8.00 given, one person will receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. What a return! If you want to give to Foursquare missions, then send your check or cash to Summit Foursquare Church with it marked "missions." Or send it directly to The International Church Of The Foursquare Gospel at:

WOMEN
"Girlfriends doing life" is the women’s ministry of Summit Foursquare Church. It exists to develop women in ministry, grow a deeper love with Jesus Christ and facilitate fellowship among women. "Soul Sisters" includes any and all women who desire to attend ladies only activities that build stronger friendships with other women and Jesus Christ.

"Every wise woman builds her home (her world, her sphere of influence) and a foolish one tears it down with her own hands". Proverbs 14:1
"Women delight in friendship. They're wired for relationship and the 'girlfriend thing' seems to be woven into their DNA. Create a positive environment and women flourish - and when women flourish the world around them also flourishes." (Bobby Houston)

Java Chat
The 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month brings the women of Summit together throughout the city of Longmont. The women meet in coffee shops, bookstores and other locations throughout the city. Java chat gives women a place to connect with other women and download from their busy schedules.

Nightlife
"Grab your girlfriends and get ready for a night on the town." The women of Summit go to "Ladies Night Out" throughout the year. They go to theaters, hold game nights, movie nights and other activities devoted to the fellowship of women. Conference
In October we have our annual women’s conference. We join women from other Foursquare churches around Colorado for a time of spiritual renewal. A special speaker is selected each year to minister to the needs of women in all areas. These conferences are inspiring, healing, convicting, moving and so much more. Hundreds of women come and enjoy a time of refreshing and leave energized. Plan now to attend our next women’s conference.

KIDVenture Childrens Ministry
Visit our New KidVenture Site!

KidVenture is a time of FUN where children can experience God’s love and learn how to give His love away. Our philosophy of ministry is to minister to each child as a whole, incorporating: body, mind, and spirit. (Matthew 22:37) Meaning we seek to help children develop physical, mental and spiritual health. We hope you would come and experience us in action this Sunday!

With Christ life is an adventure.
Matthew 16:24-26

“Then Jesus told his disciples, ‘If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life? Or what shall a man give in return for his life?’” (ESV)

Sunday Morning Children’s Ministries:

Nursery (ages 0-2):
Our nursery is a caring environment where children ages 0 – 3 can experience the love of Christ through play, snack, and story time. Our desire is to practically demonstrate Christ’s love to each and every child. We believe that Children are a precious gift from God and to you. Psalm 139 "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb"

Preschool (ages 3-5):
Our preschool ministry is designed for children ages 3-5. Each week caring, experienced teachers facilitate FUN activities, crafts, and age appropriate lessons. Every week during worship time each child has a chance to play an instrument and sing along. Many children look forward to this activity and seeing Theo, the friendly dog puppet, who visits and helps apply the Bible lesson. Please note that this ministry begins at the start of service. We hope to see you this Sunday morning.
(Children in this class need to be potty trained – thank you)

Elementary (K-6th grade):
The elementary class is for children in grades Kindergarten through 6th grade. Children check in at the Children’s Connection table, located in the lobby, prior to service. After corporate worship KidVenture kids are dismissed for children’s church in the cafeteria. (Next door to the community room) We gather together as a whole for introductions, offering, and a chance to share about their week. Once we pray then we split into two separate classes: K- 2nd and 3rd – 6th. At that time we focus on age appropriate Bible lessons that show children how Jesus can be a part of their everyday life. At the conclusion of our lessons we proceed to the gymnasium for a time of fun. We believe that when children learn and have fun together they make strong relationships with each other and with Jesus.

Events:
Monthly Family Events and Parties
Summer Camp for Elementary children (July)
Harvest Fest (October)
Christmas Play

Outreach:
Operation Christmas Child
Foursquare Children’s Gospel Box
